Seenit is a personal movie-tracking app. It is designed to keep your data on your device. This policy explains exactly what that means.
Everything you create in Seenit — the movies you mark as watched, your loved/hated ratings, your head-to-head rankings, and the two onboarding details (the year you were born and the region you grew up in) — is stored only on your device, in the app's local database. We do not operate servers that hold your data, we do not have user accounts, and your information is never uploaded to us. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.
Seenit contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking software. We do not collect identifiers, usage statistics, or location data.
Seenit displays movie information and posters from The Movie Database (TMDB). When the app loads movies, your device contacts TMDB directly to fetch them. To show you relevant titles, these requests include your selected region and a range of release years. Your exact birth year is never sent — it is only used on your device to choose which years of movies to request. These requests are handled by TMDB and are subject to TMDB's privacy policy. Seenit uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Seenit is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
